The guest list for the spring 2009 Chiller Theatre show as gone up at the Chiller website.
There’s a handful of interesting names, but the highlight so far, IMO is Luigi Cozzi. I mean come on, The Killer Must Kill Again, Contamination, Starcrash and the Paganini Horror. I wasn’t planning on going to the spring show, but I’m thinking now that I need to be there.
Received this email recently from the Chiller people:
Starting at this April’s Spring Expo, NO tickets will
be sold at the door on Saturday. For admittance on
Saturday you MUST purchase your tickets IN ADVANCE!
I repeat, absolutely NO tickets… ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, NONE AT
ALL….will be sold at the door on the Saturday of the show.
Attendance on Saturday will be by ADVANCED PURCHASE ONLY!
We are doing this in an attempt to lessen the overcrowding
on Saturday and make it a wee bit easier on the fans.
More details will become available shortly and be on the
Chiller website at www.chillertheatre.com
Please repost and pass on this info to friends who attend
Thanks! – Ygor
It’ll be interesting to see how many people are wandering around on Saturday morning asking “Is this the line to buy tickets?”
OJ Simpson was sentenced today, looks like he’ll be locked up for at least 9 years before he’s eligible for parole. Personally, I think 6 months would be more than enough time for what he did. A lot of people, including myself, would have probably did the same thing OJ did to get their stuff back. Hell, when I lived in Florida, I had connections. Thugs with guns and criminal records were just a phone call away.
If you’re as upset as I am about OJ going to the big house, think about ordering some OJ Simpson T-shirts. It may not help OJ, but it’ll make you feel better.
Leave OJ Alone
Hunt for the Real Killers
OJ & George Bush
What Would OJ Do?
OJ Pop Art
This past October I visited Spooky Empire, formerly known as Screamfest, for the first time, and I had a blast. The dealer room wasn’t as big as I would have hoped, but I still found plenty of things to spend my money on. The tattoo room was going non-stop the whole weekend, and the gaming room looked like fun, if that’s what you’re into. There were two screening rooms, but I didn’t have time to check out any flix. The only band I caught was The Green Goblyn Project, and they kicked some serious ass. The celebrity room was pretty small but had a nice selection of guests, the lines for Elvira and Malcolm McDowell were huge though. As of this review, Spooky Empire is my favorite Horror Con, of course I reserve the right to change my mind…
Because we all love horror cons, I thought we should have a place to discuss them. As Ghosthouse Productions criss-crosses the country on the convention circuit, I’ll blog about it. I’ll let you know if they’re worth your heard-earned money before you make the trip. I’ll try to post about every con, whether I go or not, so feel free to add comments, let people know about your experiences, and be sure to let me know about any horror cons I forget to mention.
Next time you see me at Chiller, buy me a beer…
I know many of you have been waiting patiently for the grand opening of Death Kult Dvd. The opening was scheduled for November 18th, for obvious reasons, but as I’m sure you’re aware I missed that date by a little. Things are moving along now though, the merchant account has been approved and inventory is being added daily. I will let you know when you can break out your credit cards and start shopping, stay tuned…
